| Yep, I hear you.
It seems that when you stray from the pan and the common parts between the type 1s and get into the body and trim things tend to get expensive for the Ghia.
And they seem to vary between the years which make things a little more difficult.
AND most of the doner cars have already had that stuff stripped and is missing.

| There is a seller in Oakland who does nothing but part out aircooled VWs (some way too good to be cut, but he makes money and people are in if for the dough). He's not expensive and always has Ghias.
Worth expanding your search and making the trip once you have a list of what you need. They'll cut the parts to order and I believe they're there on weekends. |

| It's a Samba seller in Oakland. Google search and use any Oakland zip code (15 seconds of your life), then input that into the Samba zip search with a 10 mile radius. You'll find him. There'll be 30 ads for VWs being parted out.
Or, click here, you lazy bastard children from the swamp. |

| I told you he cuts up nice cars. They're simply worth more in parts. He must have an ad running in the Oakland paper or something and be pulling in non runners cheap. He has sold running cars sometimes if they run when he gets them or he can get them running without too much trouble, but mostly just cuts them up, nice or not. |
