OCTOBER 2ND 2011 THE JOE BAILON'S (INVENTOR OF THE PAINT COLOR CANDY APPLE RED, LIVES HERE IN THE AUBURN AREA) 18TH ANNUAL BLAST FROM THE PAST HOTROD, CUSTOMS, & BIKE SHOW IS BEING HELD AT THE AUBURN FAIRGROUNDS. PUBLIC ADMISSION IS FREE. I HAVE TO FIND MY ENTRY FORM TO SEE WHAT REGISTRATION IS. I THINK IT WAS $15-20. ENTRY INCLUDES: DASH PLAQUE, & EVENT T-SHIRT. BEST TROPHIES FOR: CUSTOM, ROADSTER, SPORTS CAR, PICK-UP, WAGON, PANEL, ENGINE, CONVERTIBLE, PHAETON, & RATROD. OTHER TROPHIES FOR: LONGEST DISTANCE, PEOPLES CHOICE, AND JOE'S CHOICE.

I WENT TO THIS LAST YEAR AND WAS THE ONLY VW THERE. THERE WAS 2 OTHER VW POWERED CARS THO. IT DID DO A LITTLE RAINING ON US BUT THERE WAS COVERED PARKING FOR ABOUT HALF THE CARS AND I HAD MY E Z UP.
